Dazhou Xiangyue Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. is located in the territory of Sanhui Town, Dazhou County, Sichuan Province, with a total installed capacity of 30,000 kilowatts and three through-flow units, and an average annual power generation capacity of 143 million kilowatt-hours; total investment of 350 million yuan; construction started in October 2007 and all three units were connected to the grid in August 2013. The construction and commissioning of Shifotan Hydropower Station plays an important role in promoting the development of local economy, sustainable utilization of water resources and improvement of ecological environment in Drainage County.
